2. What Calculator XL provides

Calculator XL is a large online catalogue of calculators and converters for practical, educational, personal, and professional reference. The catalogue currently contains more than 5,559 tools and may include mathematical, financial, health, cooking, science, engineering, construction, business, date, time, unit, and other calculation subjects.

We may add, revise, pause, replace, or remove tools and supporting content at any time. A tool’s presence in the catalogue does not mean that it is suitable for every use or that it will remain available.

3. Results require review

Results depend on the values you enter, the units you select, the method used, assumptions, data availability, precision, and rounding. Read the input labels, examples, assumptions, result notes, and formula shown by the tool before relying on an answer.

Calculator XL is not a substitute for an original measurement, an official record, a contract, a quote, a regulated calculation, or a professional review. Keep your own records for decisions that matter.

4. No professional advice

5. Live rates, estimates, and external data

Currency calculators may request an exchange rate from the Frankfurter API or another third-party provider used by a later release. Rates can change between the time a result is displayed and the time a transaction settles. They may not include bank spreads, card fees, commissions, taxes, or other costs.

Some tools are estimates based on assumptions or typical values. We do not guarantee the completeness, timing, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability of third-party data. External websites and services are governed by their own terms and policies.

6. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for entering appropriate values, selecting the correct units, reviewing the result, and deciding whether a tool is suitable for your purpose. Use the site lawfully and do not rely on it as the sole safeguard for an emergency, safety-critical action, medical decision, legal filing, financial transaction, or regulated calculation.

9. Intellectual property

Calculator XL’s branding, logo, page design, software, catalogue organization, written descriptions, formulas as expressed in our content, and other site materials are owned by Calculator XL or used with permission. Third-party names, marks, data, and resources belong to their respective owners.

We give you permission to access and use the site for personal, educational, and ordinary business reference. You may not reproduce, mirror, republish, sell, distribute, modify, or create a competing catalogue from site content except as allowed by law or with our written permission. Normal browser caching and sharing a link are allowed.

10. Third-party services

The site may depend on third parties for hosting, email, fonts, icons, rate data, or other technical services. A provider may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue its service without control by Calculator XL. Your use of a third-party service is subject to that provider’s terms and privacy notice.

11. Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains how the current static release handles calculator inputs, local preferences, currency-rate requests, contact messages, technical requests, and privacy choices. By using the site, you acknowledge that information may be handled as described there.

12. Availability and changes

Calculator XL is provided as available. We may change the catalogue, code, content, providers, features, or access to any part of the site without notice. 13. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Calculator XL and its catalogue are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. This includes warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, availability, and suitability for your intended use.

Some jurisdictions do not allow all warranty exclusions, so some of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms removes a right that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Calculator XL and the people and providers involved in operating it will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, or for loss of data, revenue, profits, business opportunity, goodwill, or access arising from or related to the site, a result, a third-party service, or your inability to use the site.

These limits apply regardless of the legal theory and even if we were advised that the loss was possible. Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the amount the law permits. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts located in Ontario will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes related to these Terms or the site, except where mandatory consumer or other applicable law gives you a right to bring a claim elsewhere.
